What Health Testing Do We Do?

All of our dogs are genetically tested  for DM SOD1-A, DM SOD1-B, and VonWillebrands Disease.

Once they turn 2, we will also complete OFAs of their Hips and Elbows. Going forward we will also be testing Cardiac and Eyes, per the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America's recommendations. We strive to breed the best, and these tests prove whether or not they will meet are standards of breeding. Each of our dogs results are listed with their description.

Food We Feed

We currently feed NutriSource dry kibble dog food. All our puppies get Large Breed Puppy, Chicken and Rice flavor. They will start with a puppy mash (puppy feed soaked in water) around 3 weeks old.

Our adults get the Large Breed Adult, chicken and rice flavor.

Our personal dogs are also given Sentinel monthly for worm treatment, and flea and tick prevention.

Nexgard is also given monthly for their flea and tick treatment.

Our Purchase Process

You are welcome to contact us any time about puppies by filling out our questionnaire. Our breedings are carefully planned, with breaks in between for the girls, so puppies are not always available. After filling out the questionnaire, you will be put on our "Wait List". From there we will be in contact with you, updating you up until the pups are born. As soon as the puppies turn 2 weeks old, we will start taking $500 NONREFUNDABLE deposits. We will send out updates with photos and videos 1-2 times per week.  At 6 weeks old, we will have our puppy selections. Selections go in the order we receive the NONREFUNDABLE deposits. We encourage buyers to come to our house for the selections. This way we can meet the our potential buyers, and you as the buyer have the chance to get up and personal with the pups to make an informed decision on which one will be yours! You are also welcome visit our other animals, tour the homestead and visit with our family! We also understand that this just isn't possible for everyone that lives farther away, so we can do a video chat VIA Google Meet.

At this puppy selection, we will schedule a time for you to take home your puppy. We release our puppies to their new owners at 8 weeks old and not a day before.

What Does Your Puppy Come Home With?

All our puppies will come home with the paperwork to complete their AKC registration. The puppies are wormed at 2,4&6 weeks old, per our licensed veterinarian's instructions. They will also come home with the Puppy Purchase Contract signed by both the buyer and the seller. Puppies will examined (at around 6 weeks old) by a licensed veterinarian before being sent home. Documentation of the vet visit and proof of age appropriate vaccinations from the veterinarian will be sent home.

We also send the puppies home with some NutriSourse Large Breed Puppy food. As the new owner, you are free to transition them to any food you desire. Do you research and talk to your vet about what brand to switch to as there are so many out there. Just be sure that your kibble is for large breed dogs.

The puppies are sent home with a well fitting collar and leash. We will also show you how to make a makeshift harness out of the leash, in case you do need to stop anywhere on the way home with your puppy and need some extra assurance.

A blanket that has been rubbed on the mom and litter mates will be sent along in effort to make the transition easier.
